Solution 1: Uninstall and reinstall the Arlo app

To fix the first uninstall and then reinstall the Arlo app. Following are the steps to uninstall and reinstall  the Arlo app on an Android phone:


First of all, go to the Google play store on your smartphone and find the Arlo app.

Then, open the Arlo app and trap on the uninstall button.
Once you are done with the uninstallation, tap on the install button to install the Arlo app again.

Steps to uninstall and reinstall the Arlo app on iOS:

Go to the Apple app store and search for the Arlo app.
Now, you need to press and hold the app icon until it starts shaking.
Then, click on the X button. Again open the App store to download and install the Arlo app.

Solution 2: Try to reset the Base station

Following are the steps to reset the base station:

Turn on the Arlo Base station.
Now, take a sharp paper clip and press the reset button on the Base station for 10 seconds.
After completing the reset process, LED lights will start flashing on the Base station.
When you see a green LED light, launch the Arlo app and log in to your Alro account.
Now, select the “new system setup” option and continue with the on-screen instructions.

Solution 3: Check the battery status in the Arlo camera

To check the battery status in the Arlo camera, follow the below-mentioned steps:

First of all, log in to your Arlo account and go to the “settings” tab to check the battery status of the battery.
If you find the batteries are low then you need to replace the batteries.

Follow the below-mentioned steps to replace the batteries
First of all, you need to hold the Arlo camera at the bottom, then press and slide the battery latch.

Ensure that the batteries are placed properly.

Solution 4: Sync the camera to the Base station

Following are the steps to sync the Arlo camera to the Base station:
Place the camera within the proximity range of the Base station.
Then, press the sync button on the Base station and release it after 2 seconds.

Wait until you see a green LED on the Base station. Now, press and hold the sync button on the Arlo Camera for 2 seconds.
A rapidly blinking LED light on the camera indicates that the sync is completed.
