How To Perform Arlo Base Station Reset?

Resetting the base station will bring back the default settings. The serial number will also be removed from the Arlo account you have. Follow the below-mentioned steps to perform the reset:

· Press the sync and reset button with any sharp-edged material.

· Hold it for 5-10 seconds and wait for the LED to begin flashing.

· When the light stops blinking, it will begin again.

· Open the app to Arlo either by using the Arlo login or by downloading the app and clicking on the Arlo icon when the Internet and power lights are solid green.

· Follow the on-screen instructions. 

Arlo Base Station – Restore the Factory Settings

After the factory reset, the basic values and settings of the base station will be restored. It also removes the Arlo account serial number you had created via arlo.com login. Follow these steps to perform restore the base station’s factory settings:

· Use an unfolded paper clip in order to press and hold the button of reset presented at the back of the Arlo base station for 5-10 seconds.

· When the reset is completed, the LED on the front begins flashing orange. Once the LED stops blinking orange, the base station will resume its working. The base station connected to the Arlo camera setup or Arlo account has now been disabled.

· Now, log in to the Arlo account by Arlo camera login on your mobile device when the Internet and power LED turn green.

· Type netgear.com in the address bar of any internet browser and choose the system configuration option. And after this, follow the on-screen instructions for the completion of the setup.

In case Arlo Pro cameras are synchronized completely with the base station, then you need to synchronize the Arlo cameras back on their base station.

How Can You Reset Arlo?

You can download the Arlo app from the Apple app store and Google Play store or you can also access your Arlo camera by using the myarlo.com login.

· Then, click on the setting available in the menu.

· Now, if you click or touch the correct camera, many cameras may appear.

· Click or touch then restart, and it may need scrolling down.

· Now you have to press it for the confirmation of the restart. 

Why Doesn’t Your Arlo Device Connect?

Ensure that the router is turned on and if the Internet LED on the base station is amber then it means that it is connected to the network but not to the cloud server of the Arlo. Life the Internet LED is green, then reset it to default settings, and begin the Arlo setup process again.
